| HEATERS PROJECT |
Since 37 years ago, the Institution (IPODERAC) has responded to its mission. In these years, the installations and the equipment of the houses have gone through a natural wear, and some already have arrived at the end of their useful life.
This is the case of the heaters of the houses for the children and for the laundry, which already are very eroded and sometimes bring some problems to the institution, that go from the delay of the children to be ready to go to school, since they have to wait for the heater to recover and heat hot water again; or they have to change their schedules to be bathed some in the morning and other in the afternoon; in the cost side the institution has to pay a significant amount by the excessive maintenance and gas expenses; not to leave aside the potential danger in the houses to present the risk of leaks or malfunctioning .
"IPODERAC in its plans of maintenance has had present this problem, nevertheless, the institution has had to face the expense of other more urgent repairs, doing thus more slow the renewal of this equipment. This need is very important for the Institution because it is directly linked to the quality of life of the children and youth we attend "(Dr. Fernando Balli- Director of Ipoderac).
The Institution needs 6 heaters (one for each house) with a capacity of 132 lts each.
The total amount needed in this project is approximately USD1,550.
